After some bad experiences in online food ordering, Todays I tried this restaurant. I ordered food through SWIGGY, so can’t comment about the dine-in experience of this place. I ordered PAV BHAJI and VEG MOMOS.

After spending 6 months in Gwalior, this was the first time I liked Pav Bhaji at any restaurant. The Bhaji was buttery and well cooked with spices, not spicy but full of flavors. It was delicious and mouth-watering. Pav was good in size and very nicely fried with butter. The size of the Pav was also good. It was bigger than the usual Pav we get from bakeries. I was also provided with finely chopped onion and a slice of lemon. In total, The Pav Bhaji was better than my previous orders of the same dish from different restaurants in Gwalior.

Though the Bhaji was well packed in a sealed plastic bowl, onions were given in zipped bag and plastic spoon was also provided but no paper plates were provided. The 100/- Rs. was pretty reasonable considering the Big Pav size but I would say that the amount of Bhaji should be a little more.  I ordered an extra Pav which cost me an extra 25/- and I had little Bhaji to go with it. So, guys don’t go for extra Pav if you are ordering a single plate for a single person. The quantity given is sufficient for one person.

Final Verdict: If you a Pav Bhaji lover, do try it at ALFONZO.

Momos have been my all-time favorite snack, but this was the first time I had ordered Momos from a restaurant in Gwalior. I got 6 pieces in a plate and each momo was of good size. But I was disappointed when I tasted it. The given Red Sause was spicy as it is supposed to be, but with no mayonnaise sauce, the dish is incomplete. The stuffing was of boiled cabbage but it lacked taste. Veg steam Momos have a peculiar smell and aroma which lacked today. I have lived in Delhi where it is very common street food, but today I failed to get that taste today from ALFANZO. It better to try moms from street hawkers rather than some restaurants.

The packaging was good though which made me excited but the taste made my excitement go in vain. I had to pay 80/- Rs. for these Veg Momos which was not acceptable considering the taste.

Final Verdict: If you love Veg Momos, I won’t recommend it to my fellow readers.
